The American Values Foundation is dedicated to uphold and
promote the founding principles of the United States of America.
As we get deeper into the 21st Century, there is growing confusion
about what the core values of America are and how they should
be applied in our society and nation today.
We believe that the great individuals who lead the 13 colonies
to independence were divinely guided in establishing a system
of government that secured the human values and rights that
are the foundation of any free people and nation. These values
are threatened by efforts to increase the role of government
in our lives, to remove the name and remembrance of God from
public discourse and the public square, and by efforts to
undermine the values associated with traditional families.
Our purpose is to remind Americans of the great words written
and spoken by our founders and the many great people who followed
them in upholding lasting human values as the foundation stones
for the American system.
These words are not only of value to Americans, they resonate
with all freedom-loving peoples around the world. Part of
the character of our nation has been its willingness to defend
freedom everywhere, to take on tyrants without seeking to
increase our territory or possessions. This exceptionalism
is precious, for us and the world, and we must fight to preserve
it by keeping ourselves informed and alert to threats against
the true character of America.
